Overview

Disability Support Workers Wanted – New opportunity in Gympie Join a passionate team making a real difference.

Real Community Services are excited to announce that we have a brand-new opportunity in Gympie, and we're looking for dedicated, experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team.

Role and responsibilities

As a Disability Support Worker, you'll provide person-centred support to individuals with varying needs in a home environment. You'll be part of a team that values compassion, respect, and empowerment.

  • Provide person-centred support to individuals with varying needs in a home environment
  • Support clients with mobility needs
  • Assist with personal care
  • Support community access and social inclusion
  • Implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs)
  • 2IC Role - (support the Team Leader) Disability Support
Qualifications and requirements
  • Previous experience in disability support
  • Cert III or IV in Disability or equivalent
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check & Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • A genuine passion for empowering people with disabilities to live independently
Hours and location

Currently the hours are 3 days a week; this will grow as the participant moves into a new SIL home.
