Job Opportunity: Senior Software Engineer for Growth

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Growth team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in driving the expansion and optimization of our product.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of leveraging new technologies and data to inform decision-making and drive growth for the Linktree product. You will be responsible for leading growth engineering efforts by conceptualizing, designing, and implementing technology solutions aimed at accelerating the growth of our product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize, design, and implement performant backend solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and deliver impactful solutions that contribute to the overall growth strategy.
  • Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, from initial design and implementation to testing, deployment, and maintenance of infrastructure solutions.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Experience leading developing new technology for established teams.
  • Proficiency in full-stack development, familiarity with application development technologies (Web, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL, GraphQL) and experience in backend technologies (such as Node.js, Python, AWS).
  • Experience in data-driven optimization, including familiarity with databases, data modeling, and data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, data warehouses, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.).
  • Experience in conducting experiments and A/B testing to evaluate the effectiveness of different growth strategies, features, and user experiences, and iterating based on data-driven findings.
