Job Description:

Biosecurity Co-ordinator Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Biosecurity Co-ordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in horticulture and a passion for biosecurity.

As a Biosecurity Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for working closely with the Product Compliance Manager to positively impact Bunnings team members and customers through your work in areas including greenlife, garden care, pest control and biosecurity.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Seeking to understand customer and store challenges relating to the above categories
  • Reviewing regulation/biosecurity changes and how this could impact Bunnings
  • Working on new and innovative ranges of products
  • Improving current products quality and safety
  • Improving education material and processes surrounding greenlife, garden care, pest control and biosecurity for both team members and customers

Additionally, you will work to develop and implement product compliance and quality assurance controls to support safety and compliance requirements, reducing impact of incidents and supporting speed to market.
