As a Telecommunications Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a crucial role in planning and designing customer premise equipment to support telecommunications solutions. This involves working independently on projects from start to finish, including planning, design, and implementation of customer premise equipment to support the Remote Telecommunication Infrastructure Replacement (RTIR) project.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and designing customer premise equipment to support telecommunications solutions for the RTIR project.
- Project managing the CPE design release and implementation schedule for over one thousand sites.
- Coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure designs and implementations meet project requirements and delivery dates.
- Maintaining operational excellence of network systems and components during project execution.
- Monitoring equipment and material inventory availability and providing accurate forecasting to procurement for purchase planning.
- Identifying areas of opportunity for automation, process improvement, and network optimization.
The selected candidate will be responsible for collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver high-quality results. A Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of related experience are required for this position. Alternatively, a Graduate Degree or equivalent with 2 years of related experience, or 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree, are also acceptable. Previous network experience and the ability to obtain a security clearance are essential qualifications.
