Job Title: Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of physical stock on hand in the Distribution Centre (DC) and reconciling cycle counting and computer results on a weekly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the physical stock on hand in the DC is accurate and reflects the inventory levels in the system.
  • Coordinating the DC component of all national stock-takes and assist in the management of the process for consignment products.
  • Reconcile cycle counting and computer results on a weekly basis.
  • Escalate immediately any major stock variances to the Central Planning team, agreeing an action plan to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Quality Assurance adherence, including out-of-rotation and out-of-temperature checks.
  • Product rotation checks are completed daily as agreed.
  • Act as a key point of contact for resolving inventory-related queries/inaccuracies between the DC and the Supply Chain Planning team.
  • Assist the Supply Chain Planning team in setting up new products in the Distribution Centre, including updating the system.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a DC operational environment and using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Strong attention to detail and experience using ERP systems.
  • Intermediate user proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with strong numeracy skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
