About this role

A manufacturing leader is seeking an experienced professional to lead their production team in North Brisbane.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cabinetry and joinery, with experience in delivering work using CRM and complex workflow systems.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily production activities to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency
  • Plan and coordinate materials, machinery, and workforce to achieve business goals
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to source high-quality materials and services
  • Conduct regular toolbox talks and report to senior management
  • Implement process improvements and commercial strategic planning to drive business growth

What we're looking for in a candidate:

  • Trade background in Joinery/Cabinet Making/Furniture or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, preferably in leadership roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Commercially astute with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement
  • Highly organized and self-sufficient, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Natural leadership skills, with a hands-on approach and a passion for mentoring and developing others
