About the Role
Edith Cowan University is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Associate Dean of Nursing to join our School of Nursing and Midwifery. As a key member of our senior management team, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our academic and professional nursing community towards excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the development of nursing education programs, ensuring they are aligned with industry needs and standards.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the School, driving innovation and excellence in nursing education and research.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote quality and safety in nursing practice.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, ensuring our graduates are well-prepared for the workforce.
- Contribute to the development of the University's research strategy, identifying opportunities for growth and collaboration.
Requirements
- PhD in Nursing or a related field.
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (as a nurse).
- Proven track record of leadership and management in a tertiary education or clinical setting.
- Strong research and academic record, with a focus on nursing education and practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, and industry partners.
