Nursing/midwifery Technician

The School of Nursing and Midwifery provides a comprehensive range of academic programs to prepare health professionals for positions in nursing and midwifery. We are seeking to recruit a self-motivated and well organised person who is practical and flexible to join our team as a Nursing and Midwifery Technician. As a Nursing and Midwifery Technician, you will be responsible for providing support to meet all technical requirements for practical sessions and nursing and midwifery related simulation.
You will have a minimum qualification as an Enrolled Nurse, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment and have good time management and communication skills, as well as a commitment to WHS regulations. Recent clinical experience would be preferred.
The Nursing and Midwifery Technician team is dedicated to the delivery of high-quality education and student support. Our simulation learning environment and quality teaching staff provide practical clinical experience and simulated learning opportunities that are essential to the development of safe and proficient graduates.
You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage.
Benefits & Remuneration
This ongoing position attracts remuneration of $81,614 to $90,619 PA (HEW 5) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
