**The School has two centres of research**: Centre for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Services
Research (CNMHSR) and the Centre for Research in Aged Care (CRAC). Both CNMHSR and CRAC share a common mission to improve the health and wellbeing of communities and society through evidence-based innovations in nursing and midwifery practice. Our research is world-leading, with our work being cited 1 ½ times more than the word average. The research we do is in collaboration with our well-established healthcare partnerships, and we create opportunities to share, learn, mentor, create, and promote top-quality nursing and midwifery knowledge to improve care worldwide.
We seek an experienced academic with a passion for innovation in learning and teaching and a sustained track record of research to join our energetic, forward-thinking team on our Joondalup Campus in Perth, Western Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse academic to make a difference at ECU through innovation in teaching, learning and research.
Would possess a PhD or significant progress towards a PhD;
Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia;
Will have completed qualifications in paediatrics, and can demonstrate educational experience within a tertiary or clinical practice setting; and
Will have a sustained track record of research related activities within a tertiary education or clinical practice setting.
Formal mentorship will be provided to the successful applicant.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full-time, ongoing position attracts a salary of between $113,918 to $134,596 PA (ALEVB) plus 17% superannuation.
