Key Responsibilities


This casual role will involve supporting the development and implementation of high-quality educational programs for children aged 3-4 years old at our Mooroopna kindergarten. As part of our Northern Victoria team, you'll work closely with educators to deliver engaging and interactive learning experiences that cater to diverse needs and abilities. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Supporting the delivery of a comprehensive educational program aligned with the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Frameworks;
  • Collaborating with educators to develop and implement play-based learning activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development;
  • Fostering strong relationships with families and the local community to ensure a supportive and inclusive environment;
  • Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.


Your Background and Skills


To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess:



  • A recognised teaching qualification or diploma in early childhood education (or equivalent);
  • Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) or equivalent;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues, families, and children;
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing educational programs that align with approved learning frameworks;
  • An understanding of child safety principles and practices, with a commitment to upholding Save the Children Australia's Child Safeguarding Policy.


Salary and Benefits


The estimated annual salary for this role is AU$65,000 - AU$80,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
