Sales Banking Consultant

About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sales and Service Banking Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the financial needs of customers and providing options to meet those needs. You will work closely with our customers to understand their financial goals and provide tailored solutions to help them achieve them.
Key Responsibilities- Generate opportunities for deposits and home lending using our agreed sales process.
- Provide recommendations to the Branch Manager for initiatives to improve sales performance of the store.
- Assess customer needs through open and targeted communication with customers and recommend appropriate options using our agreed sales process.
- Provide accurate and timely service by processing over-the-counter transactions in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Actively promote and support customers in the use of alternative electronic distribution methods for conducting day-to-day banking.
- Support and demonstrate a risk management culture in line with Suncorp Bank's values.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, commercial or finance are desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in a retail customer sales and service environment.
- Analytical skills to develop solutions and courses of action.
- Attention to detail to accurately check and process tasks.
- Change management skills to recognise and understand the need for change.
- Commercial acumen to recognise and implement business strategies to drive profitable growth.
- Communication skills to convey and explain information confidently and clearly.
