About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales and Service Banking Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing customer needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate opportunities for deposits and home lending using our agreed sales process.
  • Provide recommendations to the Branch Manager for initiatives to improve sales performance.
  • Assess customer needs through open and targeted communication and recommend appropriate options.
  • Provide accurate and timely service by processing transactions in an efficient and accurate manner.
  • Actively promote and support customers in the use of alternative electronic distribution methods.
  • Support and demonstrate a risk management culture in line with our values.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, commercial, or finance are desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in a retail customer sales and service environment.
  • Analytical skills to develop solutions and recommend options.
  • Attention to detail and ability to accurately process tasks.
  • Change management skills to recognize and support the need for change.
  • Commercial acumen to recognize and implement business strategies.
  • Effective communication skills to convey information confidently and clearly.
