Financial Planning Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Financial Planning Specialist to join our Strategy & Finance team.
About the Role
This is a pivotal role that will enable you to drive business growth, deliver financial insights, and make a tangible impact on our organization's success.
Your Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for financial reporting, planning, and analysis of Telstra Purple, ensuring alignment with accounting and reporting frameworks.
- You will manage the forecast/budget for Telstra Purple and liaise with finance SMEs to drive consolidated financial reporting.
- You will support the NAS finance team with end-to-end views and complete internal and external group reporting obligations.
- You will also present to directors at board meetings and ensure month-end activities are completed efficiently.
- You will take ownership of assigned work tasks, working independently to prepare periodic management reporting and financial results.
- You will participate in sessions with interdepartmental stakeholders, contributing quality financial analysis and timely advice.
Your Qualifications and Skills
- CA or CPA qualification or working towards
- Experience in both management accounting and technical accounting
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Proven demonstration of a growth mindset with tenacity for problem solving and willingness to seek information and challenge status quo
- Passion for numbers and improving financial performance
