About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Planning Specialist to join our finance team at Adairs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to play a key role in driving financial planning and analysis across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the month-end financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all tasks.
  • Prepare and review account reconciliations, trade creditors, and trade debtors, as well as P&L reporting accuracy and departmental budgets.
  • Support the preparation of annual and half-yearly statutory financial statements, working closely with external auditors.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to gather information and facilitate audit procedures.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and relevant standards.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with experience in data analysis and visualization.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Prior experience working in a retail or FMCG environment would be highly advantageous.
