Key Role in Driving Finance Operations

This role plays a pivotal part in driving finance operations, working closely with the National Team Lead.

The successful candidate will possess relevant experience working in either a Management Accountant or Finance Business Partner capacity within a commercial environment. Key traits include CA/CPA qualification, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders.

This is an opportunity to work in a forward-looking operational finance role, with ownership of a State P&L, exposure to liaising with senior operational stakeholders, and attractive remuneration.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Financial Insights and Recommendations: Collaborate with business units to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Communication of Financial Findings: Communicate financial findings to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Budget Preparation and Analysis: Prepare and analyse budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.
  • Data-Driven Financial Analysis: Support strategic decision-making through data-driven financial analysis.
  • Process Improvements: Identify, implement and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Financial Metrics Reporting: Monitor and report on key financial metrics to stakeholders.
