About The RoleWe seek an experienced Engineer to join our Data Services team to elevate our database systems. We need someone who thrives in a technical environment, loves working with data plane services, and excels at building automation for large-scale cloud-based critical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain deep expertise in data components like Cassandra, Elastic Search/Open Search, Kafka, Zookeeper, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, using this knowledge to operate and automate well-configured clusters.
- Understand operating databases in Kubernetes and managing container images.
- Develop infrastructure services to support the engineering team's pursuit of a full DevOps model.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Customer Support to troubleshoot time-sensitive production issues.
- Persistently safeguard petabytes of critical business data, ensuring its safety, security, and availability.
