Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented payroll professional to manage payroll operations and support our vibrant school community.

  • Enjoy flexible part-time hours / 3 days per week in a collaborative work environment
  • Support the operations of a senior secondary school with diverse academic and vocational pathways
Key Responsibilities
  • Process accurate, timely payroll on a fortnightly basis
  • Maintain employee records, leave entitlements, superannuation, and salary deductions
  • Ensure payroll services comply with College policies, ATO requirements, and industrial agreements
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from staff and stakeholders
  • Perform general administrative duties as directed by leadership
Requirements
  • Experience in payroll processing, ideally within an education setting (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance standards
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills
  • High level of discretion and accuracy in handling sensitive data

To be successful, you must hold or be willing to obtain:

  • A valid National Police Check (NPC)
  • A Working with Children Check (Employee)
