About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our SEM Tunnels team. This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in tunneling and work on a high-profile project that will leave a lasting legacy for the city of Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities- Development and management of daily cost reporting
- Providing on-site engineering support to assist in the achievement of project objectives
- Monitoring key construction requirements and implementing corrective action as needed
- Site mobilisation and setup for SEM works, including plant procurement and installation experience and piling
- Writing method statements, risk assessments, and preparing site records
- Coordinating and administering construction engineering activities to ensure projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mining Engineering
- Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage but not essential
- Specific experience of Tunneling/SEM excavation techniques
- Previous experience in a similar role
