About North East Link

The North East Link Project is a major infrastructure project in Melbourne, Victoria, that aims to improve the city's freeway network. As a Site Engineer on this project, you will play a crucial role in delivering the Central Package, which includes the construction of twin three-lane tunnels and key interchanges.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Site Engineers to join our SEM Tunnels team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in tunneling and join an established team that is passionate about helping you develop your skillset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development and management of daily cost reporting
  • Providing on-site engineering support to assist in the achievement of the required objectives of the project
  • Monitoring key construction requirements and implementing prompt corrective action if required
  • Site mobilisation and setup for SEM works, including plant procurement and installation experience and piling
  • Writing method statements, risk assessments and preparing site records
  • Coordinating and administering construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specification

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural or Mining Engineering
  • Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage but not essential
  • Specific experience of Tunneling/SEM excavation techniques
  • Previous experience in a similar role
