About the Role

The State Government of Victoria, Australia is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in the ICT Sourcing department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering ICT goods and services contracts that provide value-for-money to the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to ICT procurement activities to facilitate effective outcomes for departmental business areas.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance of relevant procurement systems and enablers, including the monitoring of performance targets and other key deliverables.
  • Provide practical support in relation to the ICT sourcing activities, including the application of Victorian Government Purchasing Board (VGPB) policies.

About You:

  • You will possess knowledge and experience in end-to-end ICT procurement.
  • You will have the ability to deliver high-quality market analysis reports identifying relevant and realistic opportunities.
  • You will be able to develop high-quality RFx documentation in line with defined frameworks.
  • You will have the skills to undertake evaluation activities in line with defined plans and prepare high-quality evaluation reports.

Qualifications:

  • You will have relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably encompassing procurement, supply chain, commerce, law, ICT, or business administration.
  • You will have experience or understanding of government procurement and policies.
