About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Specialist to join our team at the Australian Border Force College. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to Border Force Officer Recruit Trainees, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our trainees, including course management and participant support
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop training solutions
  • Manage and coordinate training activities, including scheduling and logistics
  • Assess and evaluate training programs to ensure they are effective and meet regulatory requirements

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A background in training and development, preferably in a government or law enforcement environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
