Workplace Injury Management Specialist

This role requires a dedicated and experienced professional to oversee the well-being of employees by managing workplace injuries, incidents, and non-work-related conditions.

The successful candidate will develop and implement injury prevention strategies, conduct regular assessments of workplace environments, and serve as the primary point of contact for reporting and documenting workplace injuries and incidents.

A key responsibility will be to coordinate and lead immediate response efforts, ensuring that injured employees receive appropriate medical attention and support.

Additionally, the candidate will work closely with medical professionals, insurance providers, and legal experts to manage the complete injury management process, including creating and maintaining injury management plans for affected employees.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to effectively collaborate with employees, medical professionals, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of workplace safety regulations, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Health/Science/Biomedical/Allied Health/equivalent
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in injury management, occupational health, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills

Key Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to injury management and workplace safety
  • Availability to travel to remote operational locations
  • Certification in injury prevention, occupational health, or a related field is advantageous
