Experienced Fitter Wanted for Mining Equipment Assembly

About our organization, we are a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment.

We seek an experienced fitter to join our assembly division in a site-based role. Your key focus will be to work in a team on new machine site builds, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining quality.

This permanent position offers access to OEM training and long-term career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include ensuring all new machine assembly is completed as scheduled while maintaining quality. You will also manage onsite builds and commissioning for mining equipment, maintain housekeeping standards within allocated areas, liaise with supervisors and leading hands to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery targets, and assist with related duties and deliver and assemble mining machines.

To succeed, you must embody the safety culture, hold relevant Australian mobile plant trade qualifications, have experience with mechanical and hydraulic component assembly, overhaul, repair, and servicing, demonstrate strong work ethic and communication skills, and maintain Forklift/Dogging/Rigging and Working at Heights certifications.
