Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all hotel facilities and promotions.
- Attend to guests' requests quickly and efficiently, striving to provide total customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages.
- Monitor the Responsible Service of Alcohol and ensure compliance with Victorian legislation.
- Maintain food and beverage stock and inventory control based on current and future occupancy.
- Complete check-in and check-out procedures and adhere to hotel standards.
- Update guest profiles, maintain guest accounts, and relevant information during their visit, ensuring charges are posted to the correct account.
- Minimum 12 months experience in a luxury hotel environment.
- Highly organized and able to effectively manage priorities.
- Strong focus on guest and team relations, with the ability to initiate contact and establish rapport easily.
- Project a professional image at all times through personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Handle tasks carefully and correctly, with a sense of urgency.
- Display high energy levels and demonstrate versatility in responding to guest requests and situations.
- Remain calm and effective in high-volume work situations.
- Be a good team player, contributing to and assisting co-workers without being asked.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Previous reception/attendant experience preferred.
- Valid RSA and knowledge of Opera is an advantage.
