Job Title: Female Disability/Aged Care Support Worker

We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate casual support workers to assist with the provision of exceptional care to a range of clients in various locations across the Shoalhaven region.

Our support workers are home-based and utilize a mobile work model, complete with electronic support for administration. This role attracts travel reimbursement and ongoing training opportunities, tailored to meet the needs of our clients.

There is scope for our support staff to work specifically with NDIS participants, Aged Care clients or a mix of both.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assistance with daily living tasks such as bathing, toileting, and mobility
  • Accompanying clients on outings for social engagement, activities, and appointments (own vehicle essential)
  • Support with household tasks including cleaning and meal preparation
  • Supervision of medication administration
  • Light administrative duties, including record maintenance and reporting

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for working with vulnerable populations and making a positive impact in their lives
  • Reliability, commitment, and a willingness to prioritize client needs
  • Professional experience or qualifications in Disability, Aged Care, or related fields are highly regarded
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Qualification in Disability, Aged Care or related field
  • Experience with complex behaviors and behavior support methods is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills and a person-centered approach
  • Resilience and compassion
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Current National Police check
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence & access to a reliable vehicle
  • The right to work in Australia
