Become a Key Player in Community Development

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as an Employment Development Consultant. As part of a leading charity, you will be working with individuals to empower them to thrive through personalized support and achieve their goals in education, employment, and community connection.

This role involves providing on-the-job mentoring and on-site support to clients and their employers to create positive work outcomes. You will engage and develop relationships with clients and their employers to understand their needs and provide regular check-ins and updates.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their employers
  • Provide tailored support and guidance to achieve employment goals
  • Drive community engagement and employer partnerships
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance workplace inclusion
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain networks for sustainable employment outcomes
About You / Qualifications
  • Demonstrated drive to achieve targets and exceed expectations
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Resilience and persistence in overcoming challenges
  • Creativity to generate new employment opportunities
  • Determination to remove barriers for people with disability
  • Experience in Disability Employment Services (DES) is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of DES strategies and marketing techniques preferred
  • Confidence in negotiation and strong networking skills
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to obtain necessary checks
