We're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Disability Employment Consultant. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others by helping people with disabilities achieve their employment goals.

Your primary responsibility will be to source employment opportunities for job seekers and provide ongoing support to help them secure and maintain employment. You'll work closely with local employers and community organizations to identify job openings and develop strategies to increase job seekers' capacity for employment.

To succeed in this role, you'll need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should also have a strong understanding of disability employment services and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

About the Role

  • Sourcing employment opportunities for job seekers
  • Providing ongoing support to help job seekers secure and maintain employment
  • Working closely with local employers and community organizations to identify job openings and develop strategies to increase job seekers' capacity for employment
  • Developing and implementing individualized job plans to support job seekers in achieving their employment goals

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Ability to complete a Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check
  • Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
