About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team for the West Gate Tunnel project. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing on-site engineering functions, coordinating activities, and providing technical guidance to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage on-site engineering functions, including project engineers and cost/planning engineers
  • Monitor quality and quantities of incoming equipment and material, and arrange corrections or modifications as necessary
  • Coordinate the activities of an engineering team, program workloads, and provide technical and administrative guidance to ensure aims and objectives are effectively and economically achieved
  • Accurate forecasts of costs and revenue, and utilize corrective action to maximize profit margin
  • Assign work and assist with reviews for accuracy and adherence to required standards of supplier, subcontractor quotations/purchase orders, and subcontractor arrangements
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 10 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably site-based. You will also have demonstrated experience in HV/LV reticulation and distribution systems, ITS, road/tunnel lighting systems, and control systems design, installation, and commissioning. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, and Science, etc. is also required. Experience using Aconex and Bluebeam would be preferred.
