Job Title: Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer to join our team at Integrated Project Services. As a key member of our MEP team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing energy-efficient, compliant, and sustainable HVAC systems for technically complex facilities in the life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess project requirements and develop scope of work, budget, and staffing plans
  • Design and implement HVAC systems, including black utilities, public health services, and building management systems
  • Collaborate with project managers and design professionals to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in HVAC system design and operation
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and design staff
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent
  • 10+ years of design engineering experience in HVAC systems
  • Expertise in computer-aided design and drafting software
  • Strong communication and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in fire protection and plumbing design
  • Mechanical designation in Australia
  • Experience in designing BioPharm facilities and associated utilities
