Platform Engineer

The Platform Engineering Team provides tooling and support for the engineering organisation, owns shared and fundamental infrastructure, and collaborates with teams for their DevOps or infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering function through tooling, education and vendor management.
  • Participate in the on-call roster for the platform.
  • Improve the software ecosystem across the full build-test-deploy-release-monitor cycle.
  • Maintain, improve and design cost-effective and scalable PCI-compliant infrastructure.
  • Mentor and support platform team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Develop and maintain internal tools, services and documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineers from across the organisation.
