Job Title: Occupational Hygiene Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Hygiene Specialist to join our team in Brisbane. As an Occupational Hygiene Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and the community.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Occupational Hygiene and/or equivalent experience in a related field. A Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH) or equivalent certification is also highly desirable.

You will be responsible for providing oversight to our operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing and implementing occupational hygiene programs. Your expertise in occupational hygiene principles, risk-based approach to workplace exposure management, and data-informed hygiene sampling and monitoring programs will be essential in this role.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with our operations team and other stakeholders. You will also need to be able to develop and execute project planning and execution in relation to improving occupational hygiene programs and outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Hygiene
  • Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH) or equivalent certification
  • Experience in Occupational Hygiene roles and heavy industry/mining is preferred
  • Experience in developing and leading project and program delivery is preferred
