International Enrolment Specialist

We are seeking a results-driven specialist to generate and convert international student enrolments through education agents, focusing on Southeast Asia and China Region.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the Senior International Recruitment Manager in developing and implementing student recruitment initiatives for Victoria University Brisbane, achieving onshore student recruitment targets for Southeast Asia and Greater China region.
  • Represent VU Brisbane at international events, exhibitions, school/university visits, student interviews and other forums to promote lead generation and conversion, requiring significant international travel.
  • Conduct regular conversion activities as directed by the Recruitment Team.
  • Maintain and provide regular/monthly reports on conversion and enrolment numbers.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with education agents, schools and universities, staying up-to-date on market changes, admissions requirements and course information.
  • Manage acquisition costs and investments in sales and marketing activities, measuring ROI.
  • Support agent incentives and promotional activities to enhance student recruitment efforts and achieve KPIs, working alongside digital marketing for student nurturing campaigns.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Level qualification or relevant experience in sales and/or education/training.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in International Recruitment Management/Sales, Higher Education sectors and student recruitment landscape, particularly Southeast Asia and/or Greater China region.
  • Drive, motivation, attention to detail, success in sales, knowledge of regulatory environment, negotiation skills, researching new business opportunities, prioritising tasks, strong communication, organisational and time management skills, positive attitude, independence and responsibility, fluent in a second language preferably Mandarin.
