Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Audit Manager to lead full-range assurance projects, covering planning, testing, reviewing, and reporting stages for large and complex client engagements.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in helping Australian businesses create value and improve their operations by delivering reviews that cover identity and access management, security management, IT governance, emerging technology risks, IT compliance, business intelligence, BCP, DRP, and IT alignment to business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full-range assurance projects, including planning, testing, reviewing, and reporting stages for large and complex client engagements.
  • Deliver reviews covering identity and access management, security management, IT governance, emerging technology risks (e.g., BYOD and cloud), IT compliance, business intelligence, BCP, and DRP, and IT alignment to business strategy.
  • Equip clients to make decisions based on accurate information by establishing the right controls, processes, and structures.
  • Optimise technology control activities, technology and operational strategy, and policies and procedures.
  • Lead and contribute to large and small-scale projects throughout the year.
  • Work closely with teams to develop their skills and grow from a personal and professional perspective; a passion for coaching and development.
Requirements
  • A strong background in financial services, technology risk, and controls environments.
  • Experience in internal audit, advisory, and/or third-party assurance engagements.
  • A strong appreciation of the complexities and challenges that organisations face around the use of existing and emerging technology and how to solve them from strategy to execution.
