Technology Risk Manager

As a leader in the Assurance, Technology Risk team, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills in an inclusive and diverse environment.

We work with a wide range of clients across various industries, helping them build trust and confidence through IT Audit services.

This role offers a great chance for those who love IT Audit, working with diverse clients, and want to make an impact.

The position is based in Sydney or can be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours, depending on the candidate's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the execution of audits/assessments of IT processes against leading practice IT risk and security frameworks and common standards (e.g., CoBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, Sarbanes Oxley Act).
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports for clients and other stakeholders.
  • Nurturing client relationships to achieve service expectations, deliverables, and outcomes.
  • Developing skills in emerging technology risk areas, such as AI, Blockchain, and Cyber Security.
  • Partnering with internal and external teams to address compliance, financial, and operational risk.
  • Ensuring client deliverables are on time and to the standard expected by the client and engagement partner/principal.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience delivering Audit engagements such as diverse IT Internal Audits, IT General Controls, SOC1, SOC2, SOC3, SOX, GS007, or ASAE Audits.
  • Practical and solution-oriented approach to assess new technology, evaluate, and advise on impact, risk, and remediation.
  • High-level communication and engagement skills, including exceptional report writing abilities.
  • Strong business acumen, commercially focused attitude, and inspiring leadership capability.
  • Excellent project management skills, including ability to lead fieldwork.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree qualification in IT or related discipline.
  • Professional accreditations and qualifications, such as CPA, CISA, CA, CIA, CISM, CISSP, CBCP, CIPP.
