Key Position: Chief Risk Officer

This role is pivotal in overseeing the strategic development and implementation of our organization's risk management function.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned leader who can effectively direct an enterprise risk and compliance function in a large and complex organization, preferably within the services sector or state government context.

To excel in this position, you must possess substantial experience in leading and directing high-performing teams, along with best practice expertise in risk management and compliance. The ideal candidate should also demonstrate excellent communication skills, enabling them to foster a proactive and cohesive team environment.

Responsibilities include providing strategic direction, leadership, and oversight of our risk governance framework, compliance obligations, insurance portfolio, quality systems, assurance, and resilience processes.

This role also encompasses the responsibilities of Chief Audit Officer, ensuring alignment with the Internal Audit Charter requirements.
