Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatch Operations: Organize and plan daily picking and packing for dispatch of goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise picking and packing staff, monitor their performance, and provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality work output.
  • Warehouse Management: Maintain warehouse systems, including inventory management, stock control, and storage organization.
  • Customer Service: Liaise with customers and transport companies to ensure accurate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work with the warehouse and dispatch manager to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Current forklift license and a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably in a warehouse or dispatch environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and transport companies.
  • Work Ethic: Strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
