Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Multi Skilled Caregiver to join our team at Parry Care Centre. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical, social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being.

The role is a permanent part-time position, working 67.5 hours per fortnight. We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

To be successful in this role, you will require a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to residents, including assisting with personal hygiene, showering, toileting, and dressing.
  • Assist with meal times, including feeding and ensuring residents' nutritional needs are met.
  • Support medication management, administering medications as required and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a harmonious working environment and ensure seamless delivery of care services.
  • Contribute to resident assessments, identifying their unique needs and developing effective care plans.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with residents.
  • Previous experience administering medications.
  • Valid Police Clearance (no older than 6 months).
  • NDIS Screen Check (or willingness to obtain at interview stage).
  • Evidence of current Flu and Covid Vaccinations.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
