Your Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify residents' needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medication safely and effectively, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to industry standards.
  • Implement falls management and prevention strategies to promote resident safety and independence.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including care plans and supporting documents.
  • Supervise the delivery of care plans, providing ongoing coaching and mentoring to care staff as needed.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, fostering a culture of empathy, respect, and open communication.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Evidence of COVID-19 and current flu vaccinations, in accordance with our organization's policies.
  • Ability to obtain a national police clearance within six months.
  • NDIS clearance or willingness to obtain.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks.
  • Knowledge of the resident classification scale, accreditation, and continuous improvement principles.
