Multi Skilled Caregiver - Permanent Position


Job Summary

The Multi Skilled Caregiver is a vital role that requires empathy, patience, and a passion for delivering high-quality care to residents. As a caregiver in our permanent pool, you will work across various residential facilities in the Northern Suburbs, providing individualized support to meet the diverse needs of our residents.

This part-time position involves working 60 hours per fortnight, with shifts from 7:00am to 1:00pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is key to meeting operational needs, and you may be required to work at different sites within your contracted hours to address clinical requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized care to residents, supporting their physical, social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, showering, and toileting.
  • Administer medication as required.
  • Provide support and advocacy for the rights of older people.
  • Collaborate with team members to promote a harmonious working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support – Aging.
  • Current COVID-19 and 2024 Flu vaccinations.
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity).
  • Successful completion of pre-employment physical and reference checks.
  • NDIS Screen Check (or willingness to obtain at interview stage).
