About the Role:

KBR is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee financial operations within the MSP line of business and a team of Project Controllers.

The successful candidate will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting, while driving continuous improvement in financial processes and literacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to reporting deadlines and maintain accuracy, relevance, and completeness of financial information.
  • Collaborate with MSP operations to support effective governance of accounts, programs, and projects.
  • Prepare consolidated MSP reporting and planning activities, including monthly forecasts, variance analysis, and annual budgeting.
  • Maintain control over non-labour indirect expenditures.
  • Drive continual improvement of financial literacy within the MSP.
  • Embed or assign appropriate financial resources into each program to support reporting, analysis, and business management.
  • Act as gate reviewer for program Estimates at Completion (EACs) in collaboration with MSP leadership.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients and key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate continuous business improvements and strategic decision-making.
  • Support bids and proposals as required.
  • Oversee MSP risk and issue monitoring, providing appropriate solutions and mitigations.
  • Develop and implement career progression and succession plans for direct reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • CPA or CA qualification will be highly advantageous.
  • Proven experience in financial or business management within the defence industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, reporting, and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software, MS Dynamics and MS Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
