Job Title: Application Support Officer
Main Responsibilities:- We are seeking a skilled support specialist to provide assistance to staff members utilizing various Council systems and applications, including SEEMiS, Groupcall, Parents Portal, and potentially a client transport system in the future.
- This role involves supporting the implementation, operation, and ongoing development of these systems/applications.
- The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering training to system users as needed and ensuring that periodic processing and production of reports are completed accurately and according to timetables.
- Essential qualifications include SVQ level 3 or HNC in Information Technology, Information Management, or Business Information Systems.
- Advanced MS Excel skills are also required.
- The ideal candidate should possess developed interpersonal skills to agree and implement changes in procedures.
- An understanding of relevant legislation associated with information retention is necessary.
- Provide day-to-day support to users and advise on associated business processes.
- Support relevant projects.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of periodic processing and production of reports.
