- Be the medical voice in the Group Executive team, providing medical expertise and guidance.
- Lead the Avant Foundation, providing oversight on the Foundation's program of grants and scholarships.
- Manage the operation of the National Advocacy Stakeholder Committee.
- A medical degree and ideally a postgraduate qualification in a medical, legal, mediation, or related field.
- Valid APHRA registration.
- Extensive clinical experience, with experience in medical education and knowledge of the medical indemnity industry legal system ideal.
- Outcomes and values focus, with a proven track record of advancing the collective interest of members.
- Strong influencing and communication skills, with the ability to work strategically and drill down into details.
