Job Opportunity:

Suitable candidates will have a strong background in competitive swimming, with experience in developing training plans that showcase progression for swimmers through various levels. They will lead a team of instructors to create and implement a program that fosters growth and achievement.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to effectively interact with students of diverse ages, abilities, and needs. They must also work well independently and as part of a cohesive team.

  • Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Developing and implementing training plans that promote progressive development in swimmers
  • Leading a team of instructors to design and deliver the squad program, ensuring alignment with company goals and legislative requirements
  • Actively promoting the squad program and affiliated Swimming Club participation
  • Ensuring safe and efficient operations of the squad program, adhering to company and legislative guidelines
  • Monitoring the progression of swimmers and collaborating with the Swimming and Water Safety program to identify talented individuals and encourage participation in the squad program
  • Conducting swimming competitions in a safe and controlled environment
  • Essential Requirements:
  • Competitive Swimming/Competitive Strokes Qualification
  • Bronze Level Qualification (Desirable)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Working with Vulnerable People
  • National Police Check
  • Previous experience and success in a comparable role
  • Excellent Verbal Communication Skills
