  • We are seeking a part-time Technical Director of Swimming and Water Polo
  • 10 hours per week during term time, including some weekend work.

About the Role

The Technical Director will mentor and guide our coaches; design, implement and deliver an annual sports programme; as well as provide operational leadership specific to the School's sporting culture. The incumbent will implement appropriate programmes that will cater for a range of ability levels, from beginners to elite athletes. This position may require you to perform the duties of a coach from time-to-time.

About You

You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:

  • Knowledge and experience in coaching and competing in Water Polo and swimming
  • Effective leadership skills with the ability to inspire others
  • A successful record of leadership and implementation of sport development programs
  • Engaging and enthusiastic coaching style with effective communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with distinct levels of abilities across various age groups
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective training sessions
  • Willingness to work weekends and non-traditional hours as required.
  • A current Bronze Medallion and Life-saving certificate

  • Appropriate qualifications
  • A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
  • A current National Police Check; and
  • Full working rights within Australia.
