The New Bundaberg Hospital project, managed by CPB Contractors, requires a Safety Manager who can lead and maintain a strong safety culture.

This key role involves collaborating with the project management team to provide guidance, clarity, and support to ensure a safe working environment.

Safety performance metrics will be monitored and reported, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all facets of Health & Safety, Environment & Quality for the project.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Tertiary (Bachelor) degree in Safety, Environmental, Project Management, Building, Construction, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience working with a Tier 1 construction company, preferably post-graduate.
  • Knowledge of relevant Safety legislation and statutes, with the ability to interpret applicable laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing all facets of Health & Safety, Environment & Quality.
  • Availability to work a 10:4 roster with FIFO options from Brisbane.
