Essential support services are provided to staff and portfolio agencies by the Treasury's IT Service Desk. To excel in this role, you will need excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to work in a small team under time-critical tasks.

  • Manage allocated workload, including phone, ticket queues, and counter services
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support and resolution for Treasury staff
  • Act as a conduit for continuous improvement support capability for the ICT Quality Assurance & Governance Team
  • Set up mobility devices and hardware relocation and physical moves
  • Create and maintain documentation and knowledge sharing for Service Delivery Unit
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rosters and rotating shift rosters Monday to Friday

To succeed in this position, you should have effective communication skills across all ICT support levels.

A customer-focused individual with experience in ICT environments or similar will excel in this role. You will establish positive working relationships, communicate sensitively with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and cultures, and have strong written communication skills.
