Job Title: Disability Support Worker

We are seeking an individual who can provide care and support for individuals with:

  • Autism (including speech and cognitive impairment)
  • Mental Health
  • Eating disorders
  • Behaviours of concern

To be successful, you must have experience in the above-mentioned areas along with:

  • Experience working with children
  • Experience in cooking, cleaning, and following strict dietary requirements
  • Experience in personal care
  • Experience with Play therapy
  • Experience interacting with pets
  • Experience following a strict behavioral care plan
  • Flexibility in hours and times

This role involves:

  • Casual employment arrangement
  • An hourly rate ranging from $35.00 to $38.00
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Day shifts
  • Morning shifts

Requirements include:

  • Diploma qualification
  • 3 years' experience in developmental disabilities (preferred)
  • English language proficiency (preferred)
  • First Aid Certification (preferred)
  • Working with Children Check (preferred)
  • National Police Certificate (preferred)
  • Driver Licence (preferred)
  • Work authorization in Australia (preferred)
  • Availability for day, night, or overnight shifts (preferred)
