Job Description

Sydney Asset Management Contract Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our client's Tax Operations team in Sydney on an initial 5-month contract. This role is highly likely to be extended or go permanent for strong performers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurate and timely delivery of tax reporting deliverables, including review of distribution calculations, superannuation fund tax calculations, and tax returns.
  • Review and maintenance of client tax profiles and security static data used to drive reporting and tax calculations.
  • Effective communication with clients, responding to queries, and adherence to operational compliance and risk policies.
  • Assist in the completion of projects, including testing of tax templates, and actively contribute to meeting team deliverables.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A degree qualification in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Tax experience working within financial services, preferably in custody or funds management, or big 4 Chartered firms.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar funds management taxation accounting role, with strong checking and reviewing skills.
Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is between $85,000 - $110,000 depending on experience.
