Challenger Limited is seeking a talented Graduate Accountant to join our dynamic Finance division. As a Graduate Accountant, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills in financial accounting and management accounting, while working on a range of exciting projects and initiatives.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent accounting graduate to launch their career in the financial services industry. You will be working closely with our experienced finance team to provide high-quality financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and analysis, including financial statements and management accounts.
  • Contribute to the development of financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Provide support to the finance team on a range of projects and initiatives, including financial system implementation and process improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including business leaders and finance teams.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong academic background in accounting, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also have a passion for learning and a desire to develop your skills and knowledge in the financial services industry.

About Our Finance Division

Our Finance division is the business partnering engine room, providing value-adding analysis and insights to our senior leadership, the Board and various other internal and external stakeholders. We work closely with all areas of the business to help set and execute Challenger's business strategy.
