Job Title: Remote Area Nurse

As a skilled and compassionate healthcare professional, you will be working in remote and rural areas of Australia, providing medical care to those who need it most.

This role requires individuals with strong clinical skills, the ability to work autonomously, and a passion for delivering culturally sensitive care.

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and examinations for patients with diverse backgrounds and health needs.
  • Diagnose and effectively treat common illnesses and injuries, taking into account the patient's medical history and current condition.
  • Deliver prompt emergency medical care, utilizing skills and knowledge to save lives.
  • Skilfully manage chronic health conditions, working closely with patients to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide culturally sensitive and respectful care, acknowledging the unique needs and values of each patient.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Nursing degree with current AHPRA registration and credentials.
  • Demonstrated 2 years' experience in remote or rural healthcare settings, including experience working with Indigenous communities.
  • Valid REC, MEC, and ALS certifications, ensuring expertise in emergency medicine and critical care.
  • Hold a valid Driver's License, enabling travel to remote locations as required.
